The Grand Coulee Dam is used as a giant movie screen while lasers dance acros the face and spillway, telling the story of the Columbia River, history and purposes of the Grand Coulee Dam. Entertaining and educational for all ages.

June 4 – Barrel Derby Days
How long does it take for a barrel to travel along the Kettle River from Midway Bridge to the Town Bridge in Curlew? This annual event folks give their best guess . . . a tradition that has it roots back to prohibition when bootleggers tried to slip barrels of illegal whiskey across the Canadian border and past Customs officals by floating their contraband down the river. Experience the excitement as the barrel arrives in Curlew. Funs starts with a pancake breakfast, fun runs, BBQ Beef Dinner, basketball hoop jam,
