What to do

Road Biking

North Central Washington offers up the ultimate road biking experience with quiet roads, majestic panoramas, and varied terrain. Smooth tarmac and mild weather make for a pleasant spin from high alpine vistas to low riverside orchards and arid ghost town deserts.

For cyclo cross riders, put the hammer down on hundreds of miles of forest roads from the Methow Valley to the Okanogan without pedaling the tarmac!

Experienced bike shops offer up bike repairs and services provided by experienced local bikers that will point you in the right direction for a route that matches your touring goals. Route information for hours long to day long trips, and mountain climb classification is also available at any bike shop. Score some great schwag at bike races and bike festivals.

When you’re all knackered, kick back and enjoy great food and live music offered at many Okanogan Country restaurants, or relax at a wellness spa.
